He’s a man with a office job, a wife, a daughter and a big house. the typical american asshole. Yet he managed to beat a teleporting mutant, a wizard and fucking batman to grab himself a spot in the top 10. HOW? BY WAKING UP. Lester Burnham is a man who couldn’t deal with his morose bullshit life, and created a midlife crisis actually worth watching. Breaking away from the formulated and artificial lifestyle of an american nuclear family, Burnham becomes the most cynical and inconsiderate bastard you will ever meet. But since everyone else in the film are fake and products of social expectations, you want him to rip the shit out of everything that happens to him. His life takes a downhill dip the day he woke up, but fortunately for us, it was also the day he decided there were better things in life…like a 1970 pontiac firebird…HE RULES!
