The man of knowledge. Everything from masturbating on airplanes to what tigers hate (or love), he knows about it. Unfortunately, he knows nothing about what happened last night. played by Zach Galifianakis, Garner is awesome because of two things…1) nobody in the film thinks he is cool, and 2) nobody watching the film thinks he is cool. Defining the new age ‘idiot’, Garner is a man, or, a lone wolf, who means no harm. It’s just that, he is, well, a little strange. He can’t help it. A character of constant one liners backed up by an excellent screenplay and an endless supply of very funny scenes, it’s because of all this that Alan Garner deserves a place in the final ten…just.
