The oscar winner in this case is Dustin Hoffman, and the loved one is Tom Cruise as brother Charlie. a story of nonstop frustration, Hoffman plays a man with autism who inherents millions of dollars from his father. What makes Babbitt such a character is his amazing memory skills, allowing him to create a story of marvellous knowledge caged by a physical fortress. A man you know could beat you in any game ever invented, yet couldn’t even get changed, you find yourself caring so much for him that you don’t care about any other character but him. Anyone else is seen as someone in the way
